Dimension Energy has secured $857 million in additional financing to accelerate the expansion of its distributed solar platform. The financing package includes a $200 million increase in its corporate credit facility and $657 million in construction-to-term debt and tax equity financing. The financing will support 29 distributed solar projects totalling 149 MW across Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Furthermore, the financing was backed by leading lenders including Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit, HPS Investment Partners, MUFG Bank, First Citizens Bank, ING Capital and National Bank of Canada, with Advantage Capital providing tax equity. The financing builds on Dimensions’ $650 million portfolio financing earlier in 2026 and will help it reach the target of 1 GW capacity by 2028.
In October 2025, Dimension Energy secured a $412 million construction and term financing package for a 134 MWdc portfolio of community solar projects across Illinois, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The financing includes $176 million in tax equity from Advantage Capital, with MUFG serving as lead debt syndicator alongside First Citizens, ING, National Bank of Canada, Cadence and Siemens. The projects are expected to provide subscribers with at least 10 per cent savings on their electricity bills.
