AMPIN Energy Transitions has achieved financial close of a $195 million long-term project finance facility for its 100 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh. The project will combine solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to supply dispatchable power during peak demand. The project has a power purchase agreement capacity of 100 MW.
Furthermore, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Rabobank acted as Mandated Lead Arrangers, Green Loan Coordinators and Joint Structuring Banks for the transaction. The financing is aligned with the Green Loan Principles and structured in accordance with the Equator Principles. Additionally, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, JSA Advocates & Solicitors, Aurora Energy Research and Tractebel also supported the transaction.
Earlier, in July 2026, AMPIN Energy Transitions signed a power purchase agreement under Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited Tranche VII for its 199 MW/800 MWh firm and dispatchable renewable energy project.
