KPI Green Energy Limited has received a work order from NACOF Oorja Private Limited (NOPL), a subsidiary of NACOF, for the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 500 MW/550 MWp solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order is valued at approximately Rs 20.25 billion. The project is part of NOPL’s 5,000 MW solar park being developed at village Dantoor, Tehsil Khajuwala, district Bikaner.
According to the work order, KPI Green Energy will undertake the complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project. The scope includes civil works, modules, module mounting structures, inverters, transformer and electrical systems, a 33 kV transmission line, evacuation bay, and supervisory control and data acquisition and monitoring systems. The project is scheduled to be completed within 12 months from the handover of the project site.
Earlier, in September 2026, KPI Green Energy Limited received a letter of intent from an unnamed domestic private entity for the development of a wind-solar hybrid project in Gujarat under a group captive arrangement. The project will comprise 33.6 MW of wind capacity and 33.6 MWac/43 MWdc of solar capacity.
