Mahindra Susten has achieved financial closure for its 150.80 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Maharashtra. The project is being developed under a group captive off-take arrangement. The financial closure follows the signing of a binding financing agreement with the Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank).
Under the agreement, Exim Bank will act as the sole lender and provide the entire debt requirement of Rs 8.75 billion. The financing will be provided through Exim Bank’s sustainable finance programme.
Earlier, in December 2025, Mahindra Susten commissioned 560 MW of utility-scale solar projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The commissioned portfolio included a 280 MW solar project in Gujarat supplying power to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam and a 280 MW project in Rajasthan with power contracted to Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam.
