GoodEnough Energy has commissioned India’s largest battery energy storage system (BESS) gigafactory in Noida. The factory is now fully operational with an initial capacity of 7 GWh. The investment in the facility exceeds Rs 4.5 billion. Furthermore, the company plans to expand the facility’s capacity to over 25 GWh within three years.
The gigafactory is catalysing the development of a robust domestic supply chain. It is also expected to empower the youth in the region with better job avenues, while nurturing an ecosystem of over 100 small and medium enterprises as suppliers and partners.
