TrueRE Oriana Power sells 110 MWp C&I solar projects to Actis

TrueRE Oriana Power has divested its 110 MWp of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects to Actis. The transaction has an enterprise value of Rs 5.01 billion and forms part of the proposed divestment of approximately 238 MW of operational solar assets to Actis. 

Furthermore, under the transaction, TrueRE Oriana Power will transfer its stake in Truere Guj SPV Private Limited and Truere Current Private Limited to Actis. Both the companies are also jointly developing a 1 GW renewable energy portfolio. 

Earlier, in August 2026, TrueRE Oriana Power had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Maharashtra to invest approximately Rs 45 billion in an integrated green hydrogen project in the state. The proposed project will include facilities for producing green hydrogen and its downstream derivatives, including green ammonia and green methanol.
