Jakson Group and OMC Power have announced a collaboration to implement a 50 MW solar rooftop project. The project is valued at approximately Rs 2 billion. The project is expected to offset 62,500 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, equivalent to planting 2,500,000 trees. Jakson Group will play a key role in deploying the rooftop systems across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, contributing to the state’s clean energy transition and sustainability goals.
In November 2024, Jakson Green shipped its first batch of 3.8 MW indigenously manufactured electrolysers to power green hydrogen refueling stations for urban mobility in the National Capital Region.
In October 2024, Jakson Green was awarded 50 MW in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s 200 MW grid-connected wind power auction under Phase VIII at a tariff of Rs 3.63 per kWh, with a 25-year power purchase agreement.
