Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has received a letter of award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI). The award is for the development of a 700 MW solar project and a 700 MW/2,800 MWh energy storage solution in Solapur, Maharashtra. Furthermore, the power purchase agreement (PPA) for the project will remain valid for 25 years from the scheduled commencement of supply date.
In July 2026, Waaree Energies received an order for the supply of 212 MW of solar modules from an international entity engaged in owning and managing utility-scale renewable energy projects. The delivery is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27.
In May 2026, Waaree Energies wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four Private Limited, signed a PPA with SECI for the development of a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka, Gujarat.
