AmpereHour Energy and Ampt join forces for storage solutions

AmpereHour Energy has partnered with US-based Ampt to distribute and service its DC power management products across India, South Asia, West Asia and Africa. The partnership will integrate Ampt’s string optimisers and direct-to-battery (D2B) technology with AmpereHour’s battery energy storage system (BESS), energy management software and project services.

Furthermore, the collaboration aims to improve system efficiency, reduce capital expenditure and enhance the reliability of renewable energy projects. The companies will target applications including utility-scale solar-plus-storage projects, data centres, electronic vehicle charging infrastructure, solar repowering, co-located green hydrogen projects and battery capacity augmentation.

Earlier, in July 2026, AmpereHour Energy inaugurated its BESS manufacturing and integration facility in Chakan, Pune. With a planned capacity of 5 GWh, the facility will focus on the integration of Make in India cabinet and containerised battery DC-AC blocks for utility-scale as well as commercial and industrial applications.
