Premier Energies announces financial results for Q1 FY 2026-27

Premier Energies Limited has announced the financial results for the first quarter (Q1) of financial year (FY) 2026-27. The company reported total revenue of Rs 25.07 billion in Q1 FY 2026-27, registering a 34.1 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 7.59 billion, reflecting a 27.2 per cent YoY growth, while the EBITDA margin stood at 30.3 per cent. Furthermore, profit after tax (PAT) reached Rs 4.71 billion, recording a 53.3 per cent YoY increase, with a PAT margin of 18.8 per cent.

Furthermore, the company produced 844 MW of solar cells, 953 MW of solar modules, and 570 MVA of transformers during the quarter. It also inaugurated its 5.6 GW Seetharampur solar module manufacturing facility and advanced the development of its 7 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Naidupeta, where machinery installation is underway and trial runs are expected to commence shortly. 

In April 2026, Premier Energies completed the second and final tranche of its strategic acquisition of equity shares in Transcon Ind Limited. The company acquired 52,073 equity shares of Transcon Ind through a preferential allotment by private placement, with a consideration of Rs Rs 2,503,097,037.
