The Energy Solutions Business of Godrej Enterprises Group has secured a contract to develop a 98 MWp open-access solar power plant in Sirsa, Haryana. Hexa Climate Solutions has awarded the project. Under the agreement, Godrej’s Energy Solutions Business will undertake turnkey execution of the project.
Furthermore, the project will utilise bifacial TOPCon modules along with string inverters and will incorporate smart monitoring technologies to enhance generation efficiency. The project is expected to generate around 147 million kWh of clean energy per annum. Each unit of solar power generated will help in reducing around 75,000 tonnes of carbon.
Earlier in May 2025, Hexa Climate Solutions completed the acquisition of Fortum’s (a Finnish energy firm) renewable energy assets in India.
