Fourth Partner Energy and Hyundai ink agreement for hybrid renewable power

Fourth Partner Energy Limited (FPEL) has entered into an agreement with Hyundai Motor Group and its affiliates to supply approximately 28 MW of renewable power from FPEL’s upcoming wind-solar hybrid park in Tamil Nadu. The partnership includes Hyundai Motor Group companies such as Hyundai MOBIS, HYUNDAI WIA, Hyundai Glovis India, and HYUNDAI TRANSYS, and is aimed at supporting renewable energy adoption across their operations.

The renewable power procurement will increase the share of renewable energy in Hyundai Motor Group’s energy mix by 70 per cent. Furthermore, the project is expected to offset approximately 38,185 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

In August 2025, FPEL placed an order for 165 MW of wind turbines with Adani Wind for its upcoming wind projects located across Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat. The order includes the supply of 50 wind turbine generators based on Adani’s 3.3 MW platform.

FPEL is a renewable energy developer in the commercial and industrial segment. The company has a renewable portfolio of 3.5 GW across five countries, with more than 1.5 GW of renewable projects currently operational.
