Galp has reached an agreement to acquire a 351 MW portfolio of operational onshore wind assets in Spain from Helia Funds, a platform supported by Plenium Partners and Bankinter Investment. The portfolio includes 17 wind farms generating about 750 GWh annually and operating under merchant market conditions. The deal, which is valued at around €320 million, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026 and will expand Galp’s total installed renewable capacity to approximately 2 GW.
In February 2026, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, through its fifth flagship fund Copenhagen Infrastructure V (CI V), reached an agreement to acquire Ørsted’s European onshore renewable energy business. The transaction covers more than 800 MW of renewable capacity, consisting of 578 MW operational and 248 MW under construction, along with a multi-GW development pipeline.
In February 2026, Eiffage, through its subsidiary Eiffage Energía Sistemas, was awarded two infrastructure contracts in Spain by Capital Energy for onshore wind projects in the Castile and León region. The combined value of the contracts is over €80 million. The projects involve developing electrical infrastructure for wind farms with a total installed capacity of 270 MW. The projects are scheduled to be completed in 2027.
