Apraava Energy commissions transmission project to evacuate power from Rajasthan’s REZs

Apraava Energy has commissioned the 22 km, 400 kV Fatehgarh IV transmission line along with a 400/220 kV pooling substation in Barmer, Rajasthan. The project forms part of the transmission scheme designed to evacuate power from Rajasthan’s renewable energy zones. These zones have a planned capacity of 20 GW under Phase-III Part A1.

The Fatehgarh IV Transmission has a renewable power transmission capacity of 2.5 GW, supported by five 500 MVA transformers. The newly commissioned line connects to Apraava’s Fatehgarh-III substation. This connection strengthens the overall transmission network in the region.

Earlier in December 2025, Apraava Energy bagged $92 million in financing from British International Investment and Standard Chartered to expand its advanced metering infrastructure footprint.
