TP Solar bags Rs 6.32 billion module supply contract from SECI

TP Solar Limited (TP Solar) has secured a contract from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for supplying 292.5 MWp of Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) solar modules. Awarded under the CPSU Scheme Tranche-III, the project underscores TP Solar’s commitment to accelerating India’s renewable energy transition.

The contract is valued at approximately Rs 6.32 billion and involves the supply of high-quality DCR modules to the designated site in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. It is part of SECI’s broader 400 MWp tender, which underwent a competitive bidding process followed by an e-Reverse Auction. Out of the total 400 MWp allocation, TP Solar has secured 292.5 MWp.

The project’s delivery timeline is set between October 2025 and January 2026, covering a four-month period. This initiative will contribute to India’s renewable energy goals, generate economic opportunities, and enhance the long-term sustainability of the solar industry.

In January 2025, TP Solar secured a contract with the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL) to supply 300 MWp of solar modules certified under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The contract was valued at approximately Rs 4.55 billion.
