Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has requested bids for the turnkey installation of a 100 MW automatic solar module manufacturing line. The scope of work includes installation of the module manufacturing line that includes supply, layout design, installation, commissioning, integration, equipment testing, warranty, Bureau of Indian Standards certification, and training for the line operation and maintenance. The installation and commissioning of the line must be concluded within seven months of the date of purchase order.
According to the tender guidelines, bidders must submit Rs 3.63 million as an earnest money deposit. Also, the successful bidder must provide 3 per cent of the purchase order’s basic value as performance security within 15 days of the purchase order’s issuance. Further, the line must produce cells with dimensions of 156.75 × 156.75 mm or 158.75 × 158.75 mm along with an output of 5.67W. It must manufacture 900 modules on a daily basis and 270,000 modules on a yearly basis. The successful bidder must run the line for at least one month after installation and commissioning as a trial run to produce at least 5 MW of modules. The bid submission deadline is September 26, 2022.
Recently in June 2022, REIL floated a tender to acquire 3,500 solar modules with an output of 330 W built from 72 monocrystalline or multicrystalline solar cells.
