SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has issued a request for proposals for manufacturing and supplying solar modules of 1,465 MWp for solar projects across India. Out of 1,465 MWp, the following capacities will be set up at different locations, which includes 376.6 MWp, 265.2 MWp, 144.9 MWp in Gujarat. While, two projects of 285.6 MWp each will be set up in Maharashtra. Remaining 107.1 MWp will be set up in Bihar. The solar PV modules for each project must be delivered within 45 days from the issuance of the letter of award. The bid submission deadline is November 30, 2023.
To be eligible, the bidder should be involved in manufacturing and supplying solar photovoltaic modules with a combined capacity of 30 MWp or higher within the past seven years. Moreover, it is required that at least one of these supply orders comprises a capacity of 10 MWp or more.
Recently, in October 2023, SGEL issued a tender for setting up grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 18 MW at Punjab, Himachal Pradesh.
In the same month, SGEL announced that it bagged a letter of award for 100 MW solar power project from Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited at a tariff of Rs 2.62 per unit in Rajasthan.
