Jindal India Power and SANY sign term sheet for 160 MW WTGs

Jindal India Power Limited, the power company of the BC Jindal Group, has signed a term sheet with SANY Wind Energy India Private Limited for the supply of 160 MW of wind turbine generators (WTGs). 

The agreement supports the execution of Jindal India Power’s 150 MW round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), which is being developed in Davanagere, Karnataka. The company secured the capacity at a tariff of Rs 5.07 per kWh. BC Jindal Group signed a power purchase agreement with SECI in November 2025. 

SANY Wind Energy India Limited is the Indian wind energy arm of SANY Group. The group was founded in 1989. It operates across multiple equipment segments, including construction machinery, wind power equipment, photovoltaic equipment, and energy storage systems.
