SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has invited expressions of interest (EoI) from interested entities for the purchase of SJVN Green Energy Limited-owned solar photovoltaic (PV) modules stored at two locations in India. The EoI was issued to assess market interest and explore optimal commercial avenues for the value realisation of approximately 712.9 MWp of solar PV modules. The available inventory includes modules supplied by Das Solar (144.065 MWp), Econess Energy (284.6716 MWp), and Hefei GCL System Integration New Energy Technology (284.1616 MWp). These modules are located in Gujarat and Maharashtra. The inventory comprises monocrystalline solar PV modules, including bifacial double glass and Mono PERC modules.
The EoI aims to identify prospective buyers or agencies for the outright purchase of solar PV modules. It also seeks to assess feasible commercial modalities, including lot-wise or location-wise disposal, with an indicative lot size of 50 MWp or other configurations based on market response. Additionally, the EOI intends to gather inputs on quantity requirements, logistics, and lifting mechanisms, while facilitating the structuring of a subsequent tender or auction process. The deadline for EoI submission is May 14, 2026.
Earlier in February 2026, SJVN announced the result of its 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system auction in which Hardi Hydro Energy emerged as the successful bidder to set up the project at the 1,360 MW Panipat thermal power station in Haryana. The company secured the capacity at a tariff of Rs 197,000 per MW per month.
