NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has issued a request for proposal for the development of green ammonia and green methanol projects at the Pudimadaka green hydrogen hub in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the tender guidelines, the green ammonia and green methanol projects will be evaluated under Parcel A and Parcel M, respectively. Each parcel will be allotted up to 30 acres for development. The bidders may apply for one parcel or submit separate applications for both. However, a bidder securing the top rank in both parcels will be granted only one.
The tender guidelines also specify the scope of work, which includes setting up all project facilities, including the processing plant, internal distribution system, in-plant utilities, and safety systems. It also covers providing operations and maintenance services. The selected bidders must arrange the statutory compliance and clearances for the projects and must also secure offtake agreements for the projects.
Furthermore, the bidders are required to submit a bid security of Rs 10 million. The bid submission deadline is March 11, 2026.
