Sunsure Energy secures Rs 6.06 billion for solar projects in Maharashtra and UP

Sunsure Energy has secured Rs 6.06 billion in debt funding for multiple renewable energy projects from Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited and RBL Bank. Of this, Rs 4.61 billion was provided by Aseem Infrastructure Finance Limited to support solar projects in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh (UP). Additionally, RBL Bank extended Rs 1.44 billion towards refinancing Sunsure’s solar project in Augasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The financing will support more than 242 MWp of solar capacity, supplying renewable power to commercial and industrial consumers under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs). The projects are expected to generate around 300 million units of clean electricity annually. This is likely to help offset nearly 230,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.

Earlier in November 2025, Sunsure Energy inked a long-term renewable PPA with Bisleri International Private Limited under which Sunsure Energy will supply solar energy to Bisleri’s manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
