ACME Solar secures 450 MW in SJVN’s FDRE auction

ACME Solar Holdings has emerged as one of the winners in SJVN’s firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE)-IV auction. In the auction, ACME Solar has secured a 450 MW capacity for an assured peak supply of 1,800 MWh from interstate transmission system-connected clean energy projects. The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 6.75 per kWh for 25 years.

The project mandates supplying 4 MWh of energy per MW of installed capacity during any four-hour period each day within the peak demand window, with a minimum monthly availability of 90 per cent. Furthermore, ACME Solar announced plans to set up a 300 MW solar project integrated with a 1,800 MWh BESS to fulfil the FDRE supply obligations.

Earlier in October 2025, ACME Solar Holdings inked a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tata Power-D, the distribution arm of Tata Power, for a 50 MW FDRE project.

Furthermore, in September 2025, ACME Venus Urja Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, obtained Rs 38.92 billion in project funding from the State Bank of India for the development and construction of a 400 MW FDRE project in Rajasthan.
