SJVN Green Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has floated a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 75 MW solar power project in Banka, Bihar. The bids must be submitted by September 10, 2024.
The winning bidder will be responsible for designing, engineering, erecting, testing, and commissioning the project. They will also be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the plant for the three years.
An earnest money deposit of Rs 75 million has to be submitted by the bidder. They must provide their financials for the last three years to show that their average annual turnover has been at least Rs 1.14 billion. They should have had a positive net worth in the preceding financial year.
In August 2024, SJVN commissioned a 90 MW floating solar project in Omkareshwar. It was executed by SJVN Green Energy. In July 2024, SJVN had issued a tender to establish 1,200 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind-solar hybrid projects.
