Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has announced the results of its 250 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) auction. The capacities secured by the winners and the quoted tariffs were: Juniper Green Energy secured 70 MW at a tariff of Rs 4.76 per kWh, and Navayuga Engineering secured 50 MW at Rs 4.76 per kWh. Furthermore, ACME Solar won 50 MW at Rs 4.76 per kWh, and Tata Power Renewable Energy secured 80 MW at Rs 4.77 per kWh.
The winning bidders will supply FDRE from projects, integrated with energy storage systems under a build-own-operate model. Furthermore, they will also ink a 25 year power purchase agreement.
Earlier this month, Tata Power-DDL inked a memorandum of understanding with M/s Magna Yuma Private Limited for augmenting and setting up electric vehicle battery swapping stations across its operational areas.
