NITI Aayog recently launched the India Electric Mobility Index (IEMI) 2024 report. The report comprehensively tracks and benchmarks the progress of states and union territories (UTs) in achieving their electric mobility goals. It utilises open data sets as well as government data sets to capture the changes occurring in the evolving EV ecosystem. It also reflects the subnational-level progress, and challenges and opportunities that states and UTs face in their performance while transitioning to e-mobility.
