Prostarm Info Systems has announced plans to establish a 1.2 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Reliance MET City, Jhajjar, Haryana. The facility is scheduled for commissioning by the end of FY26 and will cater to both commercial and industrial and utility-scale applications. The company has secured a nine-year lease for the site and committed a capital expenditure of Rs 250 million for plant and machinery, infrastructure, and power system upgrades.
Recently, in July 2025, Prostarm Info Systems won 30 MW/120 MWh in Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited’s BESS auction of 125 MW/500 MWh.
