KPI Green signs two PPAs for 620 MW RE projects with GUVNL

KPI Green Energy Limited has signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a total of 620 MW renewable energy (RE) projects. The first PPA is for a 250 MW alternate current (AC) (275 MW direct current (DC)) grid-connected solar power project, while the second is for a 370 MW AC (642 MW DC) grid-connected hybrid renewable energy project. These projects were secured through a competitive bidding process.

In July 2024, KPI Green Energy obtained Rs 6.86 billion credit facility to develop a 200 MW solar photovoltaic project in Khavda, Kutch District.  In June 2024, Sun Drops Energia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Limited secured orders of 26.15 MW for executing solar power projects under captive power producer (CPP) segment. The projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25, in various tranches as per the terms of the order.
