Saatvik Green Energy Private Limited, , an Indian solar PV module manufacturer and EPC service provider, has announced the award of a 8.08 MW DC (6.5 MW AC) solar power project for a cement and power conglomerate. This ground-mounted project will be installed on 22 acres of land in Karnataka. The power generated by the project will be evacuated at the 11 kV level and injected into the existing 11 kV switchyard. Saatvik will execute this ground-mounted solar project and will be responsible for the project’s engineering, procurement, and construction.
Saatvik Green Energy provides sustainable energy to its clients by developing both on-site (rooftop, ground-mounted, and floating) solar projects and off-site solar energy facilities. Additionally, the company produces solar PV modules for utility, residential, and commercial applications that have ALMM approval.
In November 2022, Saatvik secured an order to supply 4 MW of solar modules to state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for photovoltaic projects in Uttar Pradesh. It won the supply order after a reverse auction conducted by BHEL. BHEL would be using these Saatvik modules for PV projects at two thermal power plants in Uttar Pradesh, which it is setting up on an EPC basis. Saatvik will deliver half-cut, multi-busbar, mono PERC modules by the year-end.
