Mecpower Solutions Limited has signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat to establish a 5 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) assembly facility at Karjan. The facility will be developed with a proposed investment of approximately Rs 1.60 billion.
In July 2026, Mecpower Solutions successfully delivered a 3.63 MWdc solar plant for Ruchi Foods LLP at Village Simali, Taluka Karjan, in Vadodara district, Gujarat. Furthermore, in March 2026, the company in collaboration with Rama Reflections India, signed a battery energy storage purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the development of a 65 MW/130 MWh standalone BESS project in Gujarat. The agreement has been signed for a period of 12 years at a contracted tariff of Rs 187,994 per MW per month.
