Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited, a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has operationalised a 139 MW solar project at Khavda, Gujarat. The project commenced commercial operations on September 1, 2026. With this commissioning, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 20,280.80 MW, while its total operational battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity stands at 3,551 MWh.
In June 2026, AGEL’s wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited, commissioned a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
In May 2026, AGEL commissioned a 3.37 GWh BESS at Khavda, Gujarat. The project was completed within 10 months of the commencement of construction. AGEL plans to add more than 10 GWh of BESS capacity in FY 2026-27 and further scale its capacity to 50 GWh over the next five years.
