KPI Green Energy commissions 200 MW solar power capacity in Gujarat

KPI Green Energy Limited has commissioned 200 MWac/269 MWdc of solar power capacity as part of the 300 MWac/405 MWdc grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project being executed on an engineering, procurement and construction basis for Coal India Limited at Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited’s solar park in Khavda, Gujarat. The commissioning has been certified by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency.

In March 2026, KPI Green Energy secured a financial sanction of Rs 9.79 billion from Canara Bank for its 150 MW wind project in Gujarat. The sanction comprises a fresh rupee term loan of Rs 9.31 billion and a bank guarantee of Rs 0.48 billion. The total project cost is estimated at Rs 12.41 billion, to be financed through a debt-equity structure of 75:25, with the sanctioned term loan covering the debt portion. 

In February 2026, KPI Green Energy secured orders from Adani Green Energy Limited and Adani Green Energy Six for the execution of electrical, civil and allied works. The orders are for a 300 MWac/405 MWdc project at the Khavda hybrid renewable power project in the Khavda renewable energy park, Gujarat.
