SAEL Industries Limited has commissioned a 1 GWp/800 MWac solar power plant at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. The plant has been commissioned through SAEL’s subsidiaries, SAEL Solar P4 Private Limited and SAEL Solar P5 Private Limited.
Furthermore, the solar power plant will be backed by a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. The projects have deployed over 1.5 million TOPCon bifacial modules. Moreover, over 60 per cent of these modules were assembled at SAEL’s solar manufacturing facilities located in Punjab and Rajasthan.
Earlier in September 2025, SAEL, through its subsidiary Sunfree Energy RJP1, commissioned a 200 MW solar power project in Jalore, Rajasthan.
Furthermore, in July 2025, SAEL, through its subsidiary Solar RE Power, commissioned a 50 MW ground-mounted solar power project in the Beed district of Maharashtra.
