NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has floated a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 100 MW agricultural photovoltaic (agri-PV) project.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work consists of identifying and arranging land. It also includes soil testing, water requirement studies, crop selection, detailed project report preparation, agri-PV design, and PMC during construction. It also includes support for onboarding farmer-producer organisations.

The scope also covers the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, and unloading for the project. It also includes storage, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant. The bid submission deadline is January 12, 2026.

Earlier in October 2025, NGEL inked a MoU with Paradip Port Authority to develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects in the Paradip Port area.

Furthermore, in the same month, NGEL commissioned 9.9 MW part capacity of its 92.4 MW wind project located in Bhuj, Gujarat.
