KP Group, through its subsidiaries, KPI Green Energy, KP Energy, and KP Green Engineering, has inked a framework agreement with Senvion India. The agreement is for the joint development of up to 2 GW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects across India over the next three years.
As part of the agreement, KP Group will be responsible for land acquisition, securing necessary permits and approvals, and executing the balance of plant (BoP) activities. The BoP tasks include carrying out civil works, constructing internal roads, foundations, and electrical systems. It also involves ensuring grid evacuation up to the interconnection points. Meanwhile, Senvion India will supply the wind turbine generators for the projects.
Earlier in October 2025, KP Group, through its subsidiary KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia, inked agreements with several organisations, namely Jeonbuk Province, GH2 Solar Limited, and AHES Co Limited, to explore opportunities in the green hydrogen space.
