Rays Power Infra secures 200 MW RTC renewable project

Rays Power Infra Limited will develop a 200 MW round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy project for Indian Railways. The project has been awarded to its subsidiary Bhalki Solar Power, and involves supplying continuous renewable power to Railways Energy Management Corporation Limited. The project, targeted for commissioning by June 2028, will integrate more than 700 MW of combined solar and wind capacity.

The project will be supported by over 1,000 MWh of battery energy storage systems. Additionally, the company plans to utilise its own solar and wind parks for project execution. Moreover, it will deploy modules manufactured using solar cells sourced from its upcoming facility in Madhya Pradesh, which is being developed under its subsidiary Rays Green Energy.

In January 2026, Rays Power Infra Limited won a 300 MW renewable energy project valued at Rs 19.12 billion. The project will be implemented under the company’s co-development business model. Furthermore, the project will be set up at one of Rays Power’s upcoming renewable energy parks in Karnataka and is expected to be commissioned within the next three years.
