NTPC’s subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has inked MoU with Paradip Port Authority to develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects in the Paradip Port area. Through this collaboration, the two entities will also assess opportunities for setting up projects related to green hydrogen and its derivatives.
Earlier in September 2025, NGEL invited expressions of interest from Indian and global developers for setting up green hydrogen or green chemical projects at the national green hydrogen hub in Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, in February 2025, NGEL and Bharat Light and Power Private Limited signed a MoU to accelerate green energy initiatives and support India’s carbon-neutral goals.
