Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has emerged as the L1 bidder for the engineering, procurement, and construction of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. This includes a 363 MWp PV plant in Rajasthan and a 580 MWp PV plant in Uttar Pradesh. Both the domestic orders are on a balance of system (BoS) basis.
Furthermore, the company has also secured a letter of intent (LoI) for a 115 MWp project in South Africa valued at around $ 120 million. The EPC value of these three orders is around Rs 17.72 billion.
Earlier in September 2025, SWREL secured a LoI from a private power producer for the BoS work and the EPC of a PV project, which has a capacity of 300 MW AC and is situated in Rajasthan.
Furthermore, in August 2025, SWREL was declared as the lowest bidder for the EPC of a 245 MW AC grid-connected solar PV project in the state of Gujarat.
