ENGIE has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 100 MW solar photovoltaic project. The project is situated in Barmer, Rajasthan, and is expected to be commissioned in 2027. Moreover, with this addition, ENGIE’s portfolio in Rajasthan now increases to around 1 GW.
Earlier in September 2025, Engie India inked a PPA for the supply of 300 MW of solar power with NTPC, which is the offtaker of the project.
Furthermore, in May 2025, ENGIE India achieved financial closure for its 200 MW solar power project located in Khavda, Gujarat. Financial backing has been secured in partnership with MUFG Bank and Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.
