NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, has issued an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender for the development of a 300 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected ground-mounted solar project. The project will be situated near NTPC’s Anta facility in Rajasthan.
The scope of work encompasses encumbrance-free land identification and acquisition, execution of EPC activities, and commissioning. It also includes operation and maintenance of the solar project for three years after its commissioning. Furthermore, the scope also covers the power evacuation system up to the NTPC Anta 220 kV substation, including setting up a terminal bay, extension of the 220 kV bus, and erecting a new 220 kV bay at the Anta switchyard.
Additionally, according to the tender guidelines, installation of an evacuation system, 220 kV switchyard, and telemetry facilities up to the ISTS pooling substation through NTPC Anta are also required. The last date for bid submission is August 30, 2025.
