Koraam New Energie, a subsidiary of Kosol Energie, has received an order worth Rs 1.86 billion for the supply of solar pumps under Component B of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan scheme. The order has been placed by various nodal agencies and involves the provision of 5,500 solar pumps in total. Out of the total 5,500 pumps, 3,000 have been allocated for Maharashtra’s Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana. Of these 3,000 pumps, 2,200 pumps have already been installed.
Additionally, Koraam New Energie is also preparing to introduce solar-powered technologies for post-harvest and dairy applications. These include systems such as solar milk chillers, solar dryers, and solar refrigeration storage.
In April 2025, Kosol Energie secured a 400 MW solar module supply order for NTPC’s 1,600 MW Khavda solar project in Gujarat through Zetwerk, with 55 MW reportedly delivered and the rest scheduled over the next two to three months, using 550W mono PERC glass-to-backsheet bifacial modules.
