Sorigin RE Services has secured 250 MW/500 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan. The project has been awarded by an Indian independent power producer. The project will be set up at two locations, comprising two installations of 125 MW/250 MWh each at Giral and Suratgarh.
The company will provide end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the standalone BESS. Furthermore, the projects aim to enhance grid stability, manage peak demand, and support renewable energy integration.
