Shakti Pumps has secured letter of intent (LoI) from the Uttar Pradesh State Department of Agriculture to supply 12,537 solar water pumps under Component B of the PM-KUSUM scheme (Phase-III)., The project is valued at approximately Rs 5.58 billion . The project involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems across the state and is expected to be completed within 120 days of receiving the letters of proceeding with the order due by March 31, 2025.
In October 2023, Shakti Pumps secured an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for 50,000 off-grid solar photovoltaic pumps under component B of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) programme, phase III. The pumps will be installed across Maharashtra. Furthermore, the project is estimated to cost Rs 16.03 billion, including GST and will be commissioned within 24 months.
In the same month, Shakti Pumps secured Rs 1.49 billion order from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited under Component C of PM-KUSUM. In September 2023, Shakti Pumps announced that it secured an order from Haryana Renewable Energy Department Agency for 7,781 pumps under PM-KUSUM.
