Rayzon Solar bags 280 MW solar modules supply order for Mahindra Susten’s PV project

Rayzon Solar has secured a contract to manufacture and supply 280 MWp of its Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) solar panels for a photovoltaic project by Mahindra Susten. The company’s n-type 16-busbar TOPCon modules are designed for high energy output, with over 22.65 per cent efficiency, improved temperature tolerance, and lower degradation rates compared to conventional panels.

The modules will be produced at Rayzon Solar’s existing 6 GW manufacturing facility in Gujarat. Furthermore, the company plans to expand its production capacity to 13 GW by 2026 in a phased manner.

In July 2024, Rayzon Solar partnered with Hero Future Energies to launch a 200 MW solar project in Karnataka, expected to reduce carbon emissions by 350,000 to 375,000 tonnes annually.
