Vikram Solar has received a supply order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited for 150 MW of its n-type solar photovoltaic modules. The modules will be used in solar power projects developed under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana, a state-level initiative to promote solar energy in agricultural sectors.
The projects will be implemented in the Jalgaon and Solapur districts of Maharashtra. The modules are reportedly scheduled for delivery in the financial year 2025–26.
In March 2025, Vikram Solar announced plans to set up a 1 GWh fully integrated solid-state cell and battery manufacturing facility, expandable to 5 GWh, using patented non-lithium solid-state battery technology from Entity2 Energy Storage.
