Coal India issues tender for 70 MW solar project

Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI), a subsidiary of Coal India, has issued a request for proposals for commissioning of a grid- connected 70 MW solar project. The project will be located in Western Coalfields, Nagpur, at Nandan Kanhan Washery area.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of 70 MW solar project. It also includes comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of ten years. The bidders are required to furnish Rs 5 million as an earnest money deposit. The bid submission deadline is August 16, 2024.

In October 2023, CMPDI issued tender for setting up 5 MW grid-connected solar power projects for Central Coalfields Limited at Barkasayal area, Ramgarh in Jharkhand.

In August 2023, CMPDI issued tender for development of a grid-connected solar power project of 8.5 MW for Central Coalfields Limited in Bokaro, Jharkhand.
