Adani Green Energy commissions 50 MW solar project at Khavda in Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the commissioning of a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat through its subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Limited. The project is reportedly scheduled to begin operations from May 15, 2025, as per AGEL’s stock exchange filing.

This development has increased AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity to 14,340.9 MW. The Khavda renewable energy park is part of AGEL’s broader initiative to build the world’s largest renewable energy plant. In the last two years, AGEL has commissioned over 4,000 MW of renewable energy capacity at Khavda. 

In March 2025, Adani Green Energy Limited commissioned a 250 MW solar power project at Bhimsar, Rajasthan, through its subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited, with operations starting on March 21.
