“The most exciting part of my role at Rays Experts is the opportunity to drive innovative solar energy solutions on a global scale. Being involved in the strategic direction of solar projects from Singapore allows me to collaborate with international stakeholders and contribute to the global sustainable energy transition. The dynamic nature of the renewable energy market keeps me engaged and enables me to learn continually, which is incredibly fulfilling,” says Gupta.
On current trends, Gupta notes that component costs are decreasing due to technological advancements and increased manufacturing scale. Among the key factors driving down costs are technological innovations, economies of scale and improved financing options, including green bonds and solar loans, which reduce the cost of capital and make solar investments more attractive. Regulatory support, government policies and incentives, market maturity and energy storage integration are also important factors.
“My management style is focused on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. I believe in leading by example and setting clear, achievable goals for my team.
