Recurrent Energy has concluded the sale of its 49.9 MWp Middle Road solar project in UK to Centrica Business Solutions. The project is situated in Harbury, Warwickshire and is a subsidy-free project.
Furthermore, the project is fully permitted and ready for construction, which is planned to commence in 2024. Commercial operations of the project are anticipated to begin in 2025. The project will generate enough green energy to power approximately 14,500 homes.
Earlier this month, Recurrent Energy secured a multi-currency revolving credit facility worth up to €1.3 billion from a consortium of ten banks for the development of renewable energy projects across multiple European countries.
