SunSource Energy commissions a solar project for CtrlS

SunSource Energy, a distributed solar energy firm, has commissioned a solar power project for CtrlS, Asia’s largest Tier 4 hyperscale data center operator. As per the agreement, SunSource Energy’s open access solar power facility located in Gursarai, Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh, provides green energy to CtrlS’s Noida data center.

This project is expected to produce about 100 GWh of clean power, reducing carbon emissions by over 94,640 tonnes during its operational life. It will also enable CtrlS to cover 60 per cent of its Noida data center’s annual energy needs with renewable sources.

SunSource Energy is a prominent supplier of solar-powered energy and storage solutions to commercial and industrial clients. It is a subsidiary of the 125-year-old Dutch multinational SHV Energy. Based in Delhi NCR, the company oversees the whole lifecycle of distributed solar projects and has a strong portfolio that is currently being developed, deployed, and contracted throughout more than 20 Indian states.
