Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has issued a request for proposals for commissioning a 100 MW solar project. The project will be located at Galiveedu village in Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work under the project includes designing, engineering, supplying (excluding photovoltaic modules), constructing, erecting, testing, and commissioning, including operations and maintenance for a period of five years. Within 15 days of receiving the letter of award, the winning bidder is required to furnish 1 per cent of total contract value as a security deposit. A composite performance bank guarantee is also required and should remain valid for a duration of three months. The bid submission deadline is December 15, 2023.
Only class I and class II local entity suppliers would be eligible to take part in bid process. The contractor handling engineering, procurement, and construction tasks will be accountable for the construction of the 33-kV cable or overhead transmission line at the current 33/220kV Andhra Pradesh solar power corporation substation.
In November 2023, HPCL issued tender for a 78 MW renewable energy project to be located anywhere in India. In August 2023, HPCL floated two empanelment tenders for engineering, procurement, and construction and supply of modules.
